Susan Cross will be showing a collection of jewellery at Flow Gallery, London from 16 November until 16 January 2019.
Susan is well known for her distinctive jewellery inspired by textile techniques and this collection of new work focuses on the 'drawn thread' technique. Following the careful selection and removal of both warp & weft threads, the woven linen cloth is then embossed into silver sheet, often inlayed with 18ct green or 22ct gold.

This exhibition includes: pendant neckpieces, rings, earrings and brooches.

Susan Cross will be exhibiting a series of enamel jewellery as part of Nexus – Meetings from the Edge. This body of work reflects her interests in studying Elizabethan blackwork embroidery popular during the 16th & 17th Centuries.

Exhibition runs from March 31st – June 10th 2018

50 Secrets of Magic Craftsmanship. 

Inviting 50 artists and designers from around the world to contribute a work, or series of works, to the exhibition. Each artist has been invited on the basis of their ability to balance interesting ideas, skillful craftsmanship and a fresh and exciting approach to a wide range of materials and techniques' 

Susan Cross will be exhibiting specially selected jewellery alongside research test pieces that give some insight into the meticulous, hands on research that is undertaken towards designing her final works.

Loop the loop series - eclipse,  2004

This brooch was designed and made in 2004 and has been aquired by the V&A, Dundee as part of the new permanent collection of contemporary Scottish jewellery.
